YAMPA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL
Image

The Yampa Valley High School is for students who want an alternative to the traditionally designed school that can better meet their personal and educational goals.  Our focus is on being a supportive learning community that respects all individuals and their overall well-being in an education environment that expects students to always do their best, emphasizing growth, not grades. Critical thinking, collaboration, and self-direction are the foundations of our academic system and serve to give our students the skills and abilities that will help create a successful and happy life.

Admission to YVHS is accomplished through an application and interview process.

More detailed information about YVHS can be found in our handbook.
