Dear Families,      The entire staff of the Seamboat Springs School District would like to welcome you and your children back to school. We have a very exciting year planned with a focus on healthy learning and healthy living.      In spite of very difficult budget decisions last year, we are fortunate to have maintained small class sizes, music and art programs, counseling programs at each school site, and facility improvements. Many of our school facilities have gone through minor face-lifts with new gym floors, new carpets and new science labs.      Much of what we are able to do is because of the Education Fund Board. We are forever grateful to the entire community for the half-cent sales tax that benefits all three school districts in Routt County.      Staff members return for a Welcome Back Breakfast and presentation on August 20th and school begins for all students on August 25th. I look forward to a very successful school year and look forward to seeing you throughout the year.
